Diploma in Business Management
Teaching manners: Face to face delivery using a wide range of teaching modes such as lectures, tutorials, simulations, role-plays, case studies, group discussion, etc.
Enrolment requirements
Academic Requirement
- 4 GCE 'O' level (A grade of C6 or better) or
- Mature candidates (≥30 years old with 8 years’ work experience); OR
- Candidates with other equivalent qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis
English Language Requirement
- GCE ‘O’ level English (A grade of C6 or better); OR
- IELTS score of 5.5; OR
- Certificate in English Proficiency programme; OR
- An equivalent English language qualification
Minimum Age Requirement
- 16 years old
Advanced Diploma in Business Management

2. Assessment Methods :
For Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin), Advanced Diploma in Business Management and Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin)
Students will be assessed in the following aspects of each module.
- Individual assignment or class test: 40%
- Written Examination: 60%
3. Graduation Criteria:
For Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin), Advanced Diploma in Business Management and Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin)
Student must fulfil the following to be awarded above Qualification.
I. Attendance Criteria: 75% or above
Students must meet minimum 75% attendance.
II. Academic requirement:
Students must attempt the two components (Individual Assignment or Class test and Written Examination) of each module stated above and must achieve an overall passing grade of 50%.
4. Duration of the course
Diploma in Business Management and Advanced Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin) and Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin)
Full time(6 Months): Classes will be held on daily basis from Monday to Friday
- No. of Modules : 6
- Learning Hours :Each module 36 contact hours
- Total teaching hours: 6 x 36 hours = 216 hours
Part time(8 Months): Classes will be held weekends or mornings, afternoon or evening time.
- No. of Modules : 6
- Learning Hours :Each module 24 contact hours
- Total learning hours: 6 x 24 hours = 144 hours
